I wasn't always super comfortable treating seniors, but with Elim Village just down the street from my clinic in Garrison Crossing, I've learned that caring for seniors isn't as different as I would have thought. You guys are tough — I learn something every time I'm lucky enough to spend time with someone who is seasoned (that's a nice way to say old, right?). I say this all the time — only the lucky ones get old. And yes, it comes with some challenges, but what stage of life has been challenge free? We can work together and make those challenges manageable. Let's make the golden years worth their weight in gold! (I know, I know — cheesy. But it's what you get. 😄)
